POSITION Provide solutions-oriented bookkeeping services to multiple clients at our corporate office, onsite at client locations, or remotely OVERVIEW Manage and support the bookkeeping needs for multiple clients Work with a diverse group of businesses, communicating regularly with clients to ensure they have a clean set of books, positioning each of the clients for financial success Build strong client relationships; become the go-to bookkeeping expert. RESPONSIBILITIES & RESULTS Successfully manage the daily bookkeeping tasks for 5-15 clients monthly (depends upon client need) Support daily bookkeeping needs when working as a team for client Perform daily AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries Knowledge of and experience with bookkeeping principles and can work with balance sheet accounts (debits-credits, liability, equity, A/R, assets) Prepare financial statements as needed Track data for W9 retrieval and complete 1099 reporting at year-end Track data for sales tax prep and produce sales tax returns Complete various bookkeeping-related projects for multiple clients Maintain integral communication with clients to review or discuss their bookkeeping activities Align as a partner with client’s internal team Professional presentation in person and via email, phone, or virtual conferencing Committed to working the AccPlus Way WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING US Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper Well versed in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop and understanding of both platforms – prefer QBO certification Excellent computer skills – server navigation, cloud experience, skill with MS Office Suite Developed presentation, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and manage multiple clients simultaneously – skilled at time management, organization, and planning Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team Function well as a productive team member – contribute to the group, accountable, complete tasks on timely basis Resilient, persistent, and committed to achieving goals Proactive and motivated work ethic High ethical standards and appropriate professional image with a growth mindset Analytical and problem-solving skills Communicate effectively and professionally with supervisors, peers and subordinates, as well as clients, their agents and vendors, both in writing and verbally Establish and maintain positive, constructive relationships with supervisors, peers, and subordinates Continuous improvement mindset: Embrace learning as opportunity to improve Work with speed and accuracy, improving processes, making recommendations on process improvement for greater productivity and efficiency Make decisions that positively affect other people, the financial resources, and the image and reputation of the firm We offer a competitive benefits package to full-time employees that includes medical, dental, vision, life and voluntary insurances.
