TITLE: APPLIED ABILITIES - PROGRAM SUPERVISOR Immediate Supervisor: Director, Applied Abilities SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Applied Abilities, and in partnership with the Lead Staff, this position is responsible for the coordination and activities in the Applied Abilities Program. This position will supervise direct support staff, interact with caregivers, community members and other community partners. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Coordinates with the Lead Staff, daily or weekly schedules of program activities • Supervises Job Coaches • Works collaboratively with the Director in conducting staff meetings • Assists in conducting new employee program orientation & training • Assists in the development of annual, semiannual and 30 day reports • Attends meetings with the people we serve, in partnership with the Director • Assists the Director in generating aggregate data & Objectives Annual Report • Assists in overseeing Agency vehicles • Assists in signing program staff timesheets on a bi-weekly basis • Conducts Job Coach and Safety meetings, monthly • Assists the Director in conducting R&D and TCRC vehicle audit • Assists and oversees vehicle maintenance • Assists in conducting Employee Communication Reports (as needed) and performance evaluations • Collects and oversees program documentation • Maintains ongoing communication with TCRC, Res providers, parents and the community • Attends Agency meetings as required • Attends in-service trainings as required • Complies with all Momentum WORK, Inc. policies and procedures, and Regional Center service specific regulations • Other related duties on an as needed basis PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to stand, sit for long periods of time • Ability to go up and down stairs • Ability to speak, read, hear and understand technical written materials • Lifting may be required; may exceed 25 lbs • Ability to bend, lift and carry • Ability to implement Crisis Management, Safety & ProAct techniques QUALIFICATIONS: • High School degree required. • Must have excellent organizational skills. • Two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory role. • Ability to work directly with individuals who are disabled, in group and individual situations. • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality regarding employees and individuals we serve and other related information • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to conduct meetings, in group environment. • Ability to complete tasks with numerous interruptions. • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision. • Ability to be a good listener and assist staff with questions, when needed. • Ability to manipulate numbers, strong organizational skills and problem solving. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Ability to mentor staff, as needed and excellent conflict resolution skills. • Compassion and respect for persons with disabilities • May need to be available during any disasters, per disaster plan • Valid CA Driver’s License (plus a driving record acceptable to the Agency’s insurance carrier) • Valid certification in CPR/1st Aid (Training available)
