Welcome to Cal Coast Adventures. Santa Barbara's premier tour, lesson, and rental company for all things fun and outside in Santa Barbara. We also run Santa Barbara Surf School and Santa Barbara Bikes To Go. We're a small team in Santa Barbara focused on helping people get outside and enjoy our beautiful city via bike, surfboard, kayak, or paddleboard. We can hire on part-time or full-time. You decide your weekly hours total! We will be interviewing and hiring a few guides for work starting in March and continuing through the summer. We will also be interviewing and hiring guides for work starting in May/June and continuing through the summer. Our operations include Surf Lessons, Surf Rentals, Bike Tours, Bike Rentals, Kayak Tours, Kayak Rentals, Paddle Board Lessons, and Paddle Board Rentals. We're seeking bright and proactive individuals who can bring energy and passion to one or multiple of the following roles: Surf Instructor Bike & Surf Rental Operator Bike Tour Guide Kayak & SUP Guide / Instructor Kayak & SUP Rental Operator Bicycle Mechanic Most of our clients are traveling into Santa Barbara looking to have a good time. Our goal is for you to help make their vacations memorable and life-giving. Our goal is also to share our love of cycling, surfing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Expectations for Cal Coast Adventures' Guides & Instructors: Prompt arrival for scheduled shifts A positive attitude that is eager to help Prepared to collaborate with fellow staff Patiently showing, teaching, and instructing clients Enthusiasm for one or multiple of the following: cycling, surfing, kayaking, and paddleboarding Ready to have a blast :) We are fairly flexible with our scheduling. The amount of days per week that you would like to work is up to you. You can choose to work for a couple of days a week or five days a week. Because we are a part of the hospitality industry please expect to work weekends and holidays. It is also very common to receive handsome tips from our clients in addition to your hourly pay.
