Tasting Room Sales Associate

Carr Winery, a small handcrafted Winery in Santa Barbara County, is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, wine savvy server to work part-time at the Tasting Room in Downtown Santa Barbara, California. The Tasting Room is open daily and we are looking to fill weekday and weekend shifts. Shifts range from 1pm-9pm and 3pm-9pm. Responsibilities for this position include: - Hospitality driven wine tasting experience that educates guests on varietals and the history of Carr Vineyards & Winery - Promote wine club sign ups and retail sales through personalized conversations - Accurately process purchases by using the POS systems and handle cash, credit, and club-related purchases - Maintain tasting room presentation standards by cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising - Support inventory management by restocking wines, glassware, and retail items as needed Most importantly - providing guests with an unforgettable experience! Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a passion for wine, wine knowledge and willingness to learn more. Weekend availability is required.
