Environmental Programs Assistant

The Clean Community Division of the Sustainability & Resilience Department is looking for passionate individuals interested in environmental work to join our team as Environmental Programs Assistant. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience while supporting the City of Santa Barbara's efforts to reduce waste, educate the community, and keep Santa Barbara litter-free. You'll work both indoors and outdoors, participate in data collection, infrastructure maintenance, and support a variety of sustainability initiatives. Shifts are flexible, with an average of 20 hours per week. Applicants must be available at least 3 days a week and up to one Saturday a month.
